Samsung Galaxy S III Unveiled

People across the globe have been waiting for this news and it’s finally here. The Samsung Galaxy S III has finally been released and it is one beauty that is sure to steal hearts. The handset is the successor of the Galaxy SII and has features that are all very classy and makes it worth the upgrade, but we need to know when will be released in the market. With the Samsung Galaxy SIII unveiled, the Europeans are the ones who should actually rejoice as Samsung has made it clear that they will be launching the
handset in Europe on the 29th of this month. No input on the release date in the other parts of the world has been yet.

They have made a mention of the main features and specifications of the handset, but there is a lot more than what they have made official but we will need to wait a while before we can lay our hands on this device.
The features and specifications that were spoken about at the launching event of this handset, have been listed below.
The Samsung Galaxy SIII is based on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that is the latest from the Android stable and thus makes it to the handset. Also, there is the TouchWiz 4.0 user interface integration made and this is smoother and more communicative than the ones that are present in the predecessors of this handset.
The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad core ARM Cortex A9 processor and that makes it the colossus of the handsets that are presently available and are soon to be released. This processor is supported by a Mali-400MP graphics card, that I feel is a bit of a disappointment.
The handset has an internal storage capacity of 1GB of RAM and as for the expandable memory feature, the handset has the ability to support a microSD card of up to 64GB.
The display of the handset has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display that has a native resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels and it has a protective covering of Gorilla glass that makes sure that the display does not fall prey to scratches.
The handset has an 8MP rear facing shooter that seems to be the standard for the handset to be taken as a premium high end handset. The camera has been given the LED Flash support and there are many other features that are present in the form of autofocus, geo tagging, face and smile detection etc. Apart from this the handset also has a secondary front facing camera for the purpose of video calls. This handset has a 1.9 optical sensor that makes it better than most of its competitors. The rear camera of the handset is capable of full HD video recording and that is what we expected from the handset. The camera of the handset is what the company seems to be laying a lot of focus on, as they have made official, the minutest details of the same and from what they have reported, the cameras do come across as impressive.
The handset will be available in three variants based on the memory capacity and that is 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
The Samsung Galaxy SIII has the HSPA+, Wi-Fi, microUSB, Bluetooth 4.0 and the USB-on-the-go support. The connectivity options are great and you can go in for any of the networks. Apart from this, there is the Near Fields Communication technology that has been included as well and it enables the user to share data between Galaxy SIII devices at a speed of 300MB per second with the help of the Wi-Fi direct network.
There are quite a few goodies that you get along with the handset in case you purchase it. There is a 50GB free cloud storage that is being offered and that is being provided by Dropbox, in case you go in for their 2 year subscription program which is pretty reasonable in my view.
The pricing of the handset has not been revealed by the company yet and will just have to wait till the 29th of this month to know at what rate the company is selling the device for.
With the Samsung Galaxy SIII, there are many questions that are sure to plague the minds of the customers with respect to the upgradation and I feel that nothing much can be said about the same till the  company does not make official the price of the handset as only then can we make out, if the handset is worth its money.
