1) How to start Microsoft Excel
Process:
* Direct click on Ms.Excel icon from shortcut Bar.
OR,
* Click on start button
* Choose programs
* Choose Microsoft Excel and click it.
OR,
* Click start button.
* Choose find.
* Choose files and folders and click it.
* Type excel.exe at the named box and click on find now button. Then, Ms.Excel icon will display.
* Give double click on it.
2) Cursor Cell Movement
i. Left arrow = to move one cell left.
ii. Right arrow = to move one cell right.
iii. Down arrow = to move one cell down.
iv. Up arrow = to move one cell up.
v. Ctrl + up arrow = first row of the worksheet.
vi. Ctrl + down arrow = last row of the worksheet.
vii. Ctrl + right arrow = last column of the worksheet.
viii. Ctrl + left arrow = first column of the worksheet.
3) Method of Highlighting
i. A single cell = click on the cell.
ii. An entire row = click on row heading.
iii. An entire column = click on column heading.
4) Hiding Columns or Rows
i. Select the number of column or rows.
ii. Click on the format.
iii. Click on rows or columns.
iii. Click on hide.
5) To Display the Hide Columns and Rows
* Click on row heading 1 or column heading A.
* Click on format.
* Choose row or column.
* Choose unhide.

Selects the cell or characters you want to format.
* Click on arrow on the font box.
* Select the new font or
* Click on format menu, click on cells.
